Description
YOUR WORLD. YOUR ADVENTURE.
Simply put: Kawasaki's all-new Teryx KRX 1000 is a superior off-road machine. Our engineers left nothing on the table when it came to producing this hardcore Sport Side-by-Side, aimed at serious enthusiasts who are continually seeking bigger and bolder challenges.
No stone was left unturned in developing this four-wheel monster—and no stone will go unclimbed as the Teryx KRX 1000 delivers the capability, confidence and comfort needed to go where its competitors can't.
Featuring the same toughness, durability and build quality that Kawasaki's Teryx line is known for, the KRX 1000 builds onto that foundation with a powerful 999cc parallel-twin engine, CVT transmission and centrifugal clutch for superb control when navigating tricky technical sections; a high-rigidity frame with an integrated Rollover Protection Structure (ROPS) and wide stance for incredible stability; massive shocks, wheels and a long wheel base turn large obstacles into small ones, while keeping the KRX plush and planted on rough trails.
NEW COMPACT LITRE-CLASS ENGINE
The beauty in off-road riding is that it's always changing; some challenges are slow, some fast and others technical. The KRX 1000's powerful 999cc, liquid cooled, Parallel Twin, 4-stroke engine is well balanced to accommodate high-revving, fast paced sections, without sacrificing low-end torque when climbing or driving at slow speeds.
CVT & CENTRIFUGAL CLUTCH
By eliminating the shock of the CVT belt engaging, the centrifugal clutch ensures precise throttle response when navigating over rocks and tricky terrain. Stable engine braking offers additional control when making steep descents.
DESIGNED TO CLIMB
It's difficult to get stuck between a rock and hard place on the new KRX 1000. Lessening the chance of a detour, engineers positioned the wheels to extend beyond bodywork. This ensures that the rubber hits an obstacle first, allowing the machine to climb 90-degress vertically when approaching an obstacle. Wheels are set as far apart as possible, contributing to a wide, planted feel and its long, 2,510 mm (99") wheelbase adds to its performance and ride comfort.
